In your desktop you will find several ways to edit your document.
- Page bar
If you click on the first symbol, another menu appears on the left, which shows you a miniature view of your document. If your document has a table of contents, you can find it here and select the different chapters. If you set marks or notes in your document, you will find an overview here and can filter by certain keywords. You can also delete irrelevant pages or rotate certain pages in the miniature view.
- Display options
With the display options you can determine the page transitions, change the layout or rotate the pages.
If your page transition is continuous, you can easily navigate through your document with the hand icon.
By clicking on the "Select" icon - or more precisely on the mouse pointer icon - you can click on selectable elements in the document or mark words/sentences to edit them - highlight, underline, cross out and copy.
- Zoom in/out
With the loupe you can zoom in or out of the document, for example to see diagrams better. You can also determine the size of the document or have it adjusted to the width or side of your screen.
- Freehand tools
With the brush you can paint any shape in your document. You can choose different colours and adjust the opacity and thickness of the brush to your document.
- Text tool
So that you can see important information at a glance and don't forget it, you can highlight text passages in different colours. You can also underline and strike through content.
- Form tool
With this tool you can insert rectangles, ellipses, lines, arrows, polygons and clouds in your document. You can also choose from different colours and adjust the opacity and thickness of the tool to your document.
Have you made a mistake or do you want to erase entire annotations? Then select the eraser and move it over the element you want to erase.
- Free text
If you want to add some text to your document, you can do so with this tool. You can change the font colour as well as the border colour and size.
Do you want to write down your thoughts on a certain part of your document? Then use the comment function and write down what is on your mind.
Did you know that we have built a small learning clock into our learning platform? You will find a small coloured dot at the top left of your desk. It changes colour continuously until it returns to its initial colour after about 24 minutes. This gives you a feeling for the time you have learnt.
